With adaptable pieces that have sustainable elegance at their core, FRAMA’s approach to a beautifully designed dining room offers pieces that adjust to any sensibility or aesthetic—from Farmhouse, to Tasca, Petit Rond, and Folding Flat to answer any challenge of space.
While visiting a castle in northern Funen, Denmark, FRAMA founder Niels Stroyer Christophersen noticed a piece of furniture that had a beautiful trestle structure. “It struck me—if it had been made in a different oak, it would’ve been stunning.” That observation laid the foundation for the Farmhouse series. At its largest size a welcoming long rectangle, and available in round and an organic Pond shape for more petite options. A range of dining tables that embody the notion of simple countryside life—expressing a rural aesthetic that is led by its solid oak material.

For dining tables that can move from indoors to out, Tasca and Petit Rond tables offer versatility and the comfort of wearing well over time. The Tasca Table is designed in a light weight and hand-finish that allows for the lines between indoor and outdoor, home and away, to be generously blurred. An endlessly adaptable piece in the series that can offer a timeless, straightforward design to any setting—in a flexible small size for outdoor patios or entertaining at home. Inspired by the local taverns around Portugal, called “tascas”, the Tasca collection is soft in texture and designed for ease; whether hosting or enjoying dining alone.
As for Petit Rond, true to its name—“small circle” in French—the Petit Rond Series is composed of lightweight, straightforward geometrical shapes that bring simplicity to any interior. In brushed stainless steel, the series introduces a level of comfort that exceeds the expectations for its small size and metal frame.
From the café setting to dining in a private patio, the Petit Rond Series allows for minimalism and whimsy to coexist. An extension of the Petit Rond Series, Petit Rond Table expands the collection to a versatile, complete outdoor furniture system. Expanded to a full dining set, the Petit Rond brings its compact form to the pressing needs of seating and surfaces alike. To add to its adaptability, every piece—excluding the leather and fabric Chair and Stool cushions—is appropriate for use outdoors, in fully stainless steel composition. New tables in Small and Large complement the existing chairs and stools of the series to create cohesive, architectural outdoor dining landscapes.
Designed for permanent flexibility, the Folding Flat Table offers a flexible surface for gathering—no matter the size or shape of space. Designed with Casegoods, a Mumbai-based design studio, the Folding Flat Table expands upon a series of adaptable pieces meant for long-term, timeless use. In a warm brown birch wood, the Folding Flat Table is refined to its essential elements and materials. Its straightforward and exposed construction offers a rich illustration of India’s history of carpentry and woodwork culture, and Casegoods’ place within it.
As the Folding Flat Table entered the FRAMA universe, it filled a need for small spaces in particular. And while the table suits its preceding Folding Flat Chair well, added leisure can be found through pairing the dining table with the Armrest Chair or the Chair 01 with its custom cushion.
