Amid the frenetic energy of Manhattan during Design Week, FRAMA arrived in New York to take over New York institution Soho News International alongside art, design, architecture and culture biannual Openhouse Magazine. Highlighting FRAMA's Sculpture Garden collection, the installation was on view in the space from May 15 to 22—with an opening event that introduced Tasca seating to the corner of Prince and Sullivan and offered a space for conversations and reflections alike. Strangewater and Ghia beverages hydrated the event while we welcomed friends old and new.

With a special edition collaborative newspaper available for the week, Sculpture Garden was highlighted alongside the latest issue of Openhouse Magazine and its focus on the senses. The newspaper appeared at multiple events across the city with long-form editorial and playful puzzles in its pages.

One such event was a design week party at Public Records, the Brooklyn club and cultural space, that spilled into the venue’s verdant outdoor space. Among several rooms with distinct musical stylings, Tasca Tables and Stools allowed for outdoor hosting and repose.

That same week, FRAMA partnered with Happier Grocery, a space for health, community, and education in Lower Manhattan, with a Sculpture Garden installation in Happier's Canal Street storefront: creating an outpost for New Yorkers to experience the care collection in person as a sensory respite throughout Design Week.

To continue the spirit of the week in its attention to the senses and relaxed gathering, FRAMA hosted an intimate afternoon at Million Goods—a storefront for design in Greenpoint, Brooklyn. Beyond the event, Million Goods is a space where FRAMA can be found permanently in the city: with Table 57 indoors and Tasca Tables and Stools both indoors and out.

As summer weather hinted at its arrival in New York alongside team FRAMA, Mon Petit Canard brought a barbecue fit for the season to the Million Goods backyard, and selected records for the afternoon. Danish hot dogs, a take on the lobster roll, and gigantic asparagus filled a petite grill while guests snacked on first-of-the-season strawberries and ice cream scooped straight from its cart. Summer jazz and the dance music that samples it spilled from the street to the backyard on the Million Goods hi-fi system. An afternoon designed to be enjoyed in good company.
