On the occasion of Berlin Design Week, from May 3 to 7 FRAMA installed a shoppable installation in VooSpace, a new gallery concept from VooStore.

Located directly across the VooStore courtyard, the space was treated as a canvas with which to tell the FRAMA story in a new context, focusing on simplicity, craftsmanship, and honest materials.

The temporary installation, made up of FRAMA’s collection including furniture, home objects, lighting, and self care, committed to using craftsmanship as its only ornamentation. This approach appealed to contemporary taste while confidently referencing the past, and offered a space to interact with FRAMA’s most-loved pieces in the way they’re meant to be: over coffee, food, and conversations that inspire FRAMA’s continued processes.

Over the course of the dinner as well as the four-day event that followed, the pillars of fashion, design, art, and culture were common threads. Among the attendees were cultural figures and friends of the house such as IGNANT founder Clemens Poloczek, publisher and co-founder Marco Velardi of Apartamento Magazine, architect Sigurd Larsen, and founder of Forma Gallery Vanessa Heepen.

The family-style dinner offered a platform for FRAMA to reconnect with close friends and the Berlin community, as well as with one of our long-time partners: VooStore. The format of a dinner at a long table is one that returns to FRAMA settings again and again, offering the chance to gather intimately in any location.
